Presente en Chile con su modelo Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) Hunter, y representada por Automotores Fortaleza S.A., la marca china Zotye -una de las tres principales firmas independientes del gigante asiático-, se ha impuesto en el mercado chileno y mundial por su elevado nivel de equipamiento y gran accesibilidad.

Zotye Holding Group fue fundada en 2003 y produjo su primer vehículo en enero de 2005, el cual se lanzó oficialmente al mercado en 2006. En enero de 2006 fue el lanzamiento oficial del primer SUV de Zotye expandiendo su comercialización a diferentes mercados del mundo en septiembre de 2007.

En diciembre de 2007, Zotye marcó un hito al vender más de 30.000 unidades, posicionándose dentro de las tres principales marcas independientes de SUV en China. En la actualidad, Zotye exporta sus vehículos a más de 50 países y regiones que abarcan el Medio Oriente, Asia Occidental, Rusia y América Latina.
