Renault, elegida en Chile “Marca del Año 2012” por la prensa especializada, presentó cuatro modelos durante el Salón del Automóvil que hoy son un éxito. Mégane III en sus versiones hatchback y deportiva fueron elegidos este año como “Mejor Auto del Año” y “Mejor Deportivo del Año”, respectivamente.

Mégane III se destaca por su diseño moderno, completo equipamiento, excelente performance y un potente motor, haciendo de éste un modelo altamente diferenciado y competitivo en su categoría, características que lo hicieron merecedor de estos reconocimientos, sumados al récord de puntuación de seguridad en las exigentes pruebas EuroNCAP. Cuenta con un cómodo, elegante y completo interior, destacando elementos de excelente calidad como navegador satelital en su versión full, tarjeta inteligente, llave retráctil con apertura a distancia, climatizador automático bi zona, volante de cuero, sistema de audio con entrada USB y CD con comando al volante, sensor de luces y lluvia, control crucero y airbags doble-cámara de última generación, entre otros. Su versión deportiva, Mégane RS, llegó a Chile en septiembre de 2011, introduciendo la división Renault Sport Technologies con la avanzada tecnología que ha caracterizado a los grandes vencedores en carreras de Fórmula 1. Propulsado por un motor de 2.0 litros Turbo de nueva generación que desarrolla una potencia de 250 HP a 3.000 rpm, capaz de acelerar de cero a 100 km/hr en 6,1 segundos. Las ventas totales de modelo alcanzan las 1.252 unidades.
